Listed for free because FB won't let you value a piece of fiberglass at $10k.
I'm assuming at that price it's a replica of some kind and doesn actually have any real McLaren prominence?
Even if it doesn't it looks pretty good and $5k for a complete (ish) fiberglass sports racer body isn't that Terrible.
I'm possibly just dumb at FB but I just don't see anything other then the pictures and a few comments on it

For me, the $5000 price is listed below the pictures. I use https://facebook.com instead of the app.
In a Reply, the location is listed as Massachusetts.

High RPM LS with a porsche transaxle what? Possibly turbos too? (I mean, you could do a mild 302 with an audi transaxle too, but first gear would be useless and a can-am replica really needs monster power)
There is a big part of me that wants to build something in the spirit of a can-am car someday. Initially I wanted to do F5000, but a Can-Am car could technically do HPDE and the F5000 couldnt.
I have kids and cant for about the next 10 years anyway. I'm lucky to get out to race what i've got.
I know, but it's not like it was a rotary or some weird Fiat engine or something. The LS is not sacrilege in this case.
The McClaren Can Am cars are some of my favorite. I recently sold a Manta Mirage kit from the 70's that had not been assembled. It was a coupe but was inspired by the Can Am Car. The kit had the windshield, door glazing, tubular front suspension and C5 Vette rear suspension. I sold it for $7,500. I was looking at spending quite a bit for a proper transaxle/engine and finishing it off. I decided to stick with my Cheetah tribute. It drives great and I like the looks.

You could probably hide an LS and just stick 8 exhaust tubes up in the air. 97% wouldn't know the difference.
