I recently stumbled across a youtube interview with some of the W Series competitors. I'm a sports racing fan but I had no idea there even was a women's racing league!

There have been some very successful women in the history of racing (Michele Moulton in Group B, Jutta Kleinschmidt in Paris-Dakar, Danica Patrick and Simona de Silvestro in Indy) of course, but that is a long and complicated discussion probably best had elsewhere to avoid violating forum rules...suffice to say that when you have people like the former CEO of F1 saying "women should be dressed in white like all the other domestic appliances" it's probably not helping women feel welcome in the world of top-tier motorsports.
Having something like the W Series as a positive example that girls can be race car drivers too if they want is nothing but a good thing in my eyes.
