I noticed this morning that the vertical  black trim strips on the front door pillars of my car are pulling away at the top where they attach to the door frames.  (On this car there is the " main " window, and a smallish triangular window in front of it...this trim piece glues over the metal between the 2 window panes.)

Part of the problem seems to be that the trim piece is flat while the small area it glues to is curved top to bottom.

I am hoping to " glue " the top of the strip back into place, but am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for what to use.  I have a bit of experience with Perma-tex products, all good, but that was in parts inside a truck.  Product should be relatively easy to use, easy to apply, and able to stand up to the elements.

I put this E36 M3 on everything: https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40069430/

Part number for a 1 oz. tube is 03602. Should be able to find it at a parts store, my local O'Reilly stocks it.

Seriously good stuff, it has never failed me.
