I was looking for a two door Tahoe or Yukon, something that is hard to find for the right money that hasn't been turned into a speaker-box-and-bad-lift-installed-with-a-cowl-induction-hood mess or isn't too far away from me to make the trip worthwhile. I ran across a 4 door near me with high miles but looking very clean, went and looked it over and bought it. Its been in the same family since it was new. Heated leather, homelink system, barn doors, power everything and 4x4. I hate the wheels, but that will be remedied soon enough. Anyway, my new DD, behold.
We have one of those (well, its' super close cousin the Yukon) as a tow rig, it has been super reliable and is comfy. Enjoy your 12mpg!
That's clean. Dad just got rid of his GMT400 'Hoe earlier this year.
Congrats! Looks extremely clean. 12mpg is what my 2500 Suburban gets with the same motor. You should be able to do much better.

I don't know, my C1500 doesn't do much better with a 305.
Nice! I love mine. ~2010ish GMC wheels look great on these and are pretty available. Mine came with those rims too. Not sure how you guys get such crappy mileage - 3.42s, 350 Vortec, and the 4l60E combo on my 1998 ECSB get me about 15.5 in the city and 18 highway.

Nice hoe! I bought one pretty much identical about 15 months ago. No problems at all, I really like it. Usually get 16-18 mpg.
