I came across this thread, just wondering what my approach should be, as I am in a similar situation, where my lifestyle has change forcing me to find a bigger vehicle. Do I just call someone in sales department at the local dealership and ask them if they want to buy my car? is timing a issue, should I call them in the summer rather then the winter? My car is in excellent condition 10/10 no issues what so ever.

A friend of mine once had a lease on an turbo Talon. Cool car but totally trouble. He wanted to get out of the lease so bad he drove the car to the worst part of town and parked it there over night with doors unlocked and keys in glove box hoping somebody might steal it. There were no takers.
