Thanks GRM for telling us to get agreed-value insurance! If I had "regular" insurance on it, it would have been totaled, but since I had a Hagerty Collector Car Policy on it for $10,000 in agreed value, the damage just squeaked under the threshold and we're fixing it! I got super lucky with the hit, because the aftermarket suspension parts moved within their adjustments, which undoubtedly saved the LF strut tower. The body shop put the car on the frame rack and the whole thing is still square and true! The LR quarter panel can also be saved, so that also saves a lot.
Now for the fun part! Buying parts and making decisions. I get an entire new set of wheels, so stick with the 17x9/17x10.5 FR500's? Or go 18's? Square? Different finish or a different wheel altogether? Same thing on the suspension, they have to buy a complete set of struts/shocks, do I put the Eibach coil-over Pro Kit back on it, or do something else? Bilsteins? Finally, the paint! They are paying for 3/4 of a paint job and a cut and buff on the passenger side. I'm going to spring for the difference of a whole paint job because I don't like the grey color anyways. So what color? I think I want something obnoxious like Grabber Blue or Grabber Green, but I also like metallics. Stripes? Flames? Giant Cobra mural on the hood?
I can't answer your questions, but I'm stoked the cobra lives to fight another day!
I say a 17" square wheel setup and grabber blue.
Is there a build thread for this car.. I'd like to read the adventures from the beginning.. I keep getting bits and pieces and its woefully inadequate
Awesome! Yes, specialty insurance is good stuff.
Not sure what we're talking about?

Here is an SN95 in Grabber Blue, it's actually one of American Muscle's project cars:
And here's a Cobra:
I could only find one Grabber Green SN95 and all the pics were terrible, but here's a New Edge Mach 1 in it:
Congrats. Yep, specialty insurance can be rather special.

Glad it worked out. The Grabber Blue is a good looking color.
Can they make it look like a Javelin?
Happy, things are working out.

I'd go orange if a color change is in the works. And no wing on the back.
Go Mystic on the paint. Square on the wheels.
I've always been partial to the Bullitt wheels on the Mustang.
The 5 spoke 03/04 Cobra wheels in the less shiny version and 10.5" width all around should work nicely (assuming 10.5s will fit up front). I think you can find aftermarket versions in 18" as well if you want more tire choices than the 17s give.

So glad this is going to work out for you! I'd go with a square setup, and I'm partial to the 5 spoke look. I really like the '03/04 Cobra wheels (but they're heavy), or the 18" Saleen wheels (only available used or as replicas). Staggered looks great, but for balanced handling you're going to want more tire up front.
In terms of suspension, I'd give Maximum Motorsports a call and discuss your goals with them.
Orange, 17x11 fr500 with 335's, bilstien coilovers, 5% tint, and the cobra r body parts.

The new tires survived, so unless I want to pony out $$$$ again for 200TW tires, I will need to stick with staggered 17's. (They are 275/40/17 and 315/35/17 Nitto NT05's for those of you that missed that thread, they have like, 50 miles on them).
After the Javelin, I hate Orange. I really like Grabber Blue, but it's been done a lot. I really like the new Shelby GT350 color, Lightning Blue. I am very partial towards dark green metallics. Mystic is out of my budget (have you priced that paint?!?). I'm digging the idea of no wing, but I also love the Saleen S281 wing. ANy other good low-rofile spoilers out there?
Conveniently, you can get a 17x9 / 17x10.5 staggered set like you have now in the Cobra 5 spokes

It was originally red right? And the jambs and stuff are still red? I'd get it all back to stock red so that it's all one color again.

I'm torn between the Saleen SC wheels in the stagger:
Or doing the FR500's again, but in black and machined:
