The door jambs and trunk jamb are all grey. The only thing they didn't color change was under the hood, which I had planned on finishing anyways. Painting the trunk jamb and driver's door jamb are already in the insurance bid.

Dark Highland Green, black 17" Bullitts and no wing.

In that case, I dig that grabber green/black. Personally, if the plan is to stick to a common Mustang wheel I'm a fan of the FR500s, but Cobra R wheels always fit the SN95 look perfectly too.

+1 to this. Seriously. it will help the resale/value of the car in the long run. You can always add graphics/designs, or a wrap, etc. to make it "your own"

Just my $0.02,

Glad it wasn't totaled though!

For the wheels, I'd go 18's in a square setup. If your Mustang is anything like my Camaro, it's gonna need all the rubber it can get up front. 18's because anything over a 255 section width seems to be going extinct in 17" diameter.

I really liked how silver RFP1's looked on my 95 GT. I'd offer to sell them to you as I still have the wheels but they aren't wide enough for your tires. Would totally do RFP1's again.

I'd go with grabber green, or calypso. The blue has been done quite a bit.

Definately merits some celebratory parts shopping!

Green with the Saleen wheels for sure.

Since you're thinking of the Grabber shades, how about some of the other 1969 Mustang colors like Gulfstream Aqua, Black Jade, Silver Jade, Lime Gold or Acapulco Blue? I really like the darker shades on your vintage Mustang.

Hi pres, Tell me about your RPF1's please.

17's/18's if you want to compete, go to 18's. The Nittos arent a hot tire, the hot tires only come in 255's in the 17's, go to 18's and go as wide as you can. (might be able to do 315 square)

At the very least, go for a square wheel setup with 17x10.5 if you REALLY dont want to lose the new tires. the 10.5 should (i think) be in range for you stagger either way.

wings... I concur on the S281 wing if its the "lip" style one I am thinking of.

Color, mind the jambs. if you do it, do it right and pull the carpet and spray the jambs. Engine bay.. well, that is less of a deal, but still a headache.

I like the 5-spokes with the Grabber Blue. On the one hand, dark hyland green would be fun, but it really doesnt do it for me. I have a white one, the cars always look better in brighter colors to me. Orange is out.. I always wanted to do blue stripes on mine (ala old GT350), but the urge has faded with time. Perhaps be different and do something akin to old school Boss stripes? That would be awesome with the grabber blue.

I've always been partial to this body style, and think staggered set up is the only way to fly with it (from a looks perspective) - and I think the Saleen wheels would be the shiznit on that car.

Colorwise, I like the blue - but maybe a shade darker. My '73 240z was painted Ford Engine Blue (seriously, tried to match touch up paint for it once, turns out a can of FEB was it!) and I always like it.

I think these cars NEED a wing, but something lower profile and a little more "blended" would look really good.

So much awesomeness that this car is going to be good to go!

I'm not sure I could stop myself form putting a Cobra R hood on it.

Actually I'm kind of a cheapskate when I can help it, so that'd probably stop me.

Can you fit 315's in front? Or 305's? For the cost of two tires (and you can almost certainly sell the skinny fronts for some money) now is the time to go wider in front. With someone else footing the wheel bill it will never be cheaper.

No. The 275's have just enough clearance. The 315's hit everything. Tire shop thinks 285's would rub. They are trying to talk me into a square 17x9 setup and running 275's on all 4. Though honestly, I would be better off with 18's at that point. If I had not JUST bought tires, this would have been a totally moot point.

No. The 275's have *just* enough clearance. The 315's hit *everything*. Tire shop thinks 285's would rub. They are trying to talk me into a square 17x9 setup and running 275's on all 4. There's a fix for this... It involves pushing the wheels / tires outboard a bit and taking a sawzall to the fenders until they stop rubbing
