Its on again.  Aside from big races, that is one motoring event that I would love to go to.

VW broke the record in its EV , doing 39.90 , 5 seconds quicker than second place

So many cool cars running at speed , 

Even Mrs84FSP agrees that this needs to be part of an English vacation...

I liked the Ferrari powered Toyota 86.

I really like the Creventic races and watch them all.  I'm still watching the Mugello 12H race. Nice that we can watch entire 12 and 24 hour races a little at a time. Charles Espenlaub who is on the CP racing team in the Creventic series with Joe Foster & Charles Putnam is a GRM kinda guy and wrote for the mag.

Just got up , looks like it rained some .....

Anyone know how long ago it rained and if it will stop the VW EV from trying another record ?

I am sure it needs the best conditions and I wonder if it will dry out in the shady areas , 

But its still fun to watch :)
