Yes to both of you.

Yesssss
I’m not sure about Chief Pontiac.
I like the idea of incorporating him, but he seems big and out of place on the front fender.
Maybe center caps on the wheels?
Or, I could de-badge it, and have a “Vibe GT” logo made up in the Formula font, then mount it lower on the door near the rockers.

I think that's a detail of placement and scale more than anything. A little smaller, a little lower, and maybe a little farther forward would do it. You could even leave his head at that size and just tighten the circle up a little.
I did a little exploring....
Removing the roof rack is probably off the radar. It would leave a big mess. There must be a cladding trim piece that covers it all on a non-sunroof model.
That's gonna be a unicorn.
So, I am keeping the rack.

I think it actually looks pretty good. Even on a Prius.
Bringing this back. The Vibe is now my sons and we hope to challenge it this year. It could really use some graphics to wake up it's look. So let's reframe the conversation to:
We have 1 week to order and apply vinyl. Suggestions?
In reply to MrJoshua :
For fast, ebay has a lot of cheap-ish, probably quick, generic stuff.
Sample $18 for a pair. Choose color
For my past stuff, I bought Vvivid Brand vinyl off Amazon w/ 2 day shipping. If you do go that route, also add in some Knifeless Tape if you want to make your own graphics or cuts for color combos.

It might be too late to make this happen but I really like this idea. I am having trouble figuring out which colors are best. Vvivid has an interesting color selection, but getting the basic reds, yellows, and oranges is difficult in the sea of carbon and reflective stuff.
