The past several days I've been on here more than usual; because I've been involved in zoom calls were I may or may not be called on as a subject matter expert.
Typically with my ADD I have trouble staying focused.............so I come here for the mind numbing portion of the meeting.
It's shameless I know but it works!

I do the same thing.
There's a reason why there are so many memes and gifs featuring the movie Office Space or the TV show The Office, that have the words "this meeting could have been an email" or similar.

My camera is centered over the screen that displays GRM, not the display with the meeting......Yep, I'm looking right at all of you.
Two computers, two monitors, same desk. It's saved me from endless Zoom meetings.
Laptop up on top of 7 catalogs, phone leans on catalogs to surf GRM.
I'm not going to say that I haven't noticed a few staff names appear as recent posts with time stamps that were suspiciously during meetings.
But, hey, that's still technically work, right :)
When I worked from home- I always had a laptop that was NOT company property set up right next to my work rig.
I also built at least one RC car on the clock. Sometimes you have to keep your hands busy.

year ago i got a job through a forum (my boss was also an active member) and I actually turned off the "online green light" after he called me out during a 1:1 lunch one day.
i should have said (how did you notice i was online during work unless you were ALSO online)
