We'll be migrating our online classifieds (not including the $2010 section) to grm.racingjunk.com next week. This will also be the way that you can get your ad in the magazine.
Online classifieds are free. Your basic ad will run for 12 weeks and includes a photo plus a full description of your item. However, you may want to purchase upgrades when you post your ad to help it stand out from the crowd. The more views your ad gets, the more likely you’ll make a sale… and GRM’s Online Classifieds, Powered by RacingJunk.com—get over 2,000,000 visits per month!
Print ad in Grassroots Motorsports magazine $20/issue
Featured ad $30/week
Best value, most recommended. Eye-catching design, showcased in marquee box at top of your category, and in rotation on the homepage. Gets 4x the views on average.
Premier ad $25/2weeks
High impact design, color-shaded in the listings and placed in the preview box at the top of the category. Gets 3x the views on average.
24-photo gallery $20/life of ad
Run Till it Sells Option $29.95
Unlimited run time. Your ad will run until your item sells. Post it once and forget it. Includes one photo, unlimited text.
Bigger photo $24.99/week
Grab browsers’ attention in the listings with an extra-large photo.
Newsletter ad $25/issue
Include your ad in the newsletter that goes to the entire RacingJunk.com membership.
Supersize photo $5.00
Video upload $10.00
Bold $24.99/week
Red Border $1.99/life of ad
I welcome our new Digital Overlords.

Canoe? Oh wait a second! This is the GRM Canoe!!
Awesome, thanks for the info.
Per..seriously, not a bad idea at all! You both serve the same market. I'm hoping it's full of win for everybody involved.
BTW: That pic of Stig crawling around next to the LeGrand in the Oct issue made SHMBO say, "awwww!"
Cool! Only $197 to sell a car!

Not really, could be free, could be $20, could be more. You get to choose the options depending on your budget.
(and thanks, Stig was having fun pressing the buttons on the longacre scale set up.)
Awesome! I might be listing three (and a bike) soon.

Overheard at the Schroeder Family compound:
"So that's what was wrong with the $%^#$%&#% crossweights!"
In reply to turboswede:
Nope, my bike is not for sale.

Since the GRM community is invading RacingJunk, shouldn't there be a separate subcategory for Miatae?
In reply to Per Schroeder:
I have to say that I don't like this change. When I searched the classifieds, there was value in knowing the owner was a GRM subscriber.
Now I have no way of knowing.
Bravenrace, not everyone who posts here is a subscriber...

Is there any way to tag the GRM forum members? I agree, I'd prefer to buy something from someone on this forum.

We have our own ways of letting each other know we're in the club.
And yes, I'm talking about the paddle scars on our hind ends.
What do you mean you don't have those?

+1
The short-term fix is to post that information in the listing. I'll talk with RacingJunk about another solution as well, but low-tech solutions are sometimes best.
I just tried to post my car there, but it didn't let me sign in.
It asks if I'm registered with GRM and to sign in but keeps kicking me out.
Even though GRM and rj both cater the auto market. I get little or no response from racejunk.

The registration for RacingJunk.com is separate from your grassrootsmotorsports.com ID. If you're having trouble, they have a real help desk at (413) 663-3496 or by email: support@racingjunk.com
Are you guys going to get rid of the classifieds section on the left margin of this site? It seems to have gone stale with the switchover.
In reply to dyintorace:
It will eventually become a feed from RacingJunk.com or a banner link to their site. We're still working on fixes from the front page changeover, so it may be a little while yet.
Gotta say, not a fan of this.
I tried to give it a shot, but over and over again I find myself missing the old GRM classified.
Frankly, I dont see how this new one is different then any other classified you will find through google, where the GRM one had A solid feeling to it. They were GRM'ers not strangers.
