You've never heard a VQ with an exhaust?

You've never heard a 4 cylinder without an exhaust?

I don't mind a 4 cyl, most 6 cyl. 8s and 12s are glorious. An uncorked rotary is music. That particular 6 is just very annoying. Like I said, it may be just because it spent 90% of the time bouncing off the rev limiter.

Here's a VQ, turbocharged, no exhaust. I actually like they way it sounds.

I'm pretty sure the UTV swinging thing was because whatever brand of UTV it was is one of their sponsors, but I agree they could have found a better way to add it into the video instead of just swinging by a crane. Also in their defense about the Cosworth with no tires it was way cooler when they did the testing in Utah (shown in the Amazon documentary), I think it was a lot less impressive due to the smooth concrete they filmed on in the video, they also left out when one of the wheels comes apart when he's drifting around Dyrdek.

The documentary on Amazon kind of helps you appreciate the final video a little more by seeing everything that goes into it and also gives you some insight on how they sometimes do a couple attempts to get the best shot and how sometimes he can nail the perfect shot on the first try, he really is a great driver. With one of my favorite gymkhana's being #3 at the racetrack in France with the banked corners I was a little disappointed they couldnt do the shot with the Hoonicorn sliding up the bank on the side of the highway in Detroit.

Also I'd never seen any interviews with Ken Block before the documentary but that dude has some crazy eyes

The first curb-drag in the Mustang was fiilllthy. Before I saw that I didn't even know that a road could be disrespected surprise

Kind of "meh" about the whole thing.  I've watched a couple of the "making of" episodes and it truly is amazing how many of those shots would be "one take" shots were it not for some producer saying the angles/lighting weren't right.  Rarely do re-takes have to do with his driving.  (Except then they busted wheels on two successive takes in Detroit)  Kind of cringed at the no-tire Cossie, since I'd love to have the wheels or the car and can't afford either.

Is that the same Cossie that burned to the ground in Maine this year?

Isn't it amazing how easily we become desensitized to things. The driving and cars in one of these videos is nothing short of amazing, but we have already seen it before so now our reaction is ho-hum.

I believe so yes. I enjoy the videos but will always enjoy the grand tour making fun of them just as much if not more.
