So, 2002 Camry with lots of small hail dimples in the trunk lid. No paint broken. What kind of cost should I be expecting when shopping for painless/paintless dent removal guys?

I have seen them quote a $100 for a panel. With a bunch it may be more. You could look for a replacement in the same color for not much more.
with that common of a vehicle it would probably be worth spending a day going to junkyards to find one that is in good shape and a matching color.

+1 for this. Usually small, sharp dents don't come out with "paintless" methods anyway.
How many small dimples? If it's a golf ball, forget it. Just get another one. If it's only a few, you'll spend around $100-$200.
On a 2002 Camry I think those are "speed dimples". Every one I've ever seen the owner collected the insurance check for the damage and just drove it, no repair done or needed.
Dimples are pretty small with no sharp indents. Actually hard to see without the right light but in the right light, you can about 30 or so. I like the replacement lid idea. Thanks.
It will probably just be cheaper to get a replacement panel if there are more than 15 dents. Most hail PDR guys won't "waste" their time on small jobs/non insurance jobs. They are basically charging the same rate as a body shop would for traditional repairs but doing it in 10% of the time. I have a friend that is a hail guy and he purchased a replacement hood for his own car because he didn't want to take the time to fix it vs the cost of a replacement for a civic.
