The pelican case is likely worth the money if set up right, but it has to go sideways to be on its wheels. That is going to require very good drawer organization.

Just announced earlier today! I saw this thread this morning and was wondering how fast someone would drop those in here after the announcement.
Resurrecting this thread a bit. I saw some "General Mechanic's Tool Kits" on GovPlanet and it reminded me of this thread. Could be a good one to keep and eye out for.
That link is for a different style, but Pelican makes the cases for some of them, which looks very close to, if not the same as what Tom got. Seems like it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep an eye out for, plus a lot of them come with tools. Tool brand seems to be Armstrong for a lot of the kits. I haven't heard of that brand personally.

I have the style of GMTK case you linked as a result of this thread- it's clunky but functional and seems pretty indestructible as long as the drawers don't crack. Was decently cheap on ebay with no tools.

I was given one of those not that long ago and while the drawers are nice, cut out foam for all of the tools, the box its self is not the best. I thought I could use as my JY box but it weighs a ton, the wheels are small and the box is narrow so it likes to tip over.
Since this got canoe bumped might as well update- the 4 drawer GMTK case I have full of Harbor Freight tools is still doing great, and has survived mutliple rallies and recce in the back of the truck without issue. It is still waterproof when closed, too, which has been tested more than I'd like.
