You can tell that most aren't but 2nd row from the bottom 3rd car from the left looks like it might be one.

RossD wrote: http://greenbay.craigslist.org/cto/5328969756.html Some assembly required but looks decent.
I need another project like I need a hole in my head but that looks like a fun deal.

Not that I think it helps your search, but Bing maps has a better view:

It could be a TVR but it could also be an RX7. From the Google street view there is an RX7 in the foundation pad to the southwest of the roofless building.
All that seems a bit "wild goose chase for run down project" compared to what you're looking for though.
In reply to RossD:
I'm watching that one on Ebay right now. Given how hard it is to find parts for these cars, I would prefer a complete, assembled car, but I'm still considering it...Not for $4000.
In reply to dculberson:
It does look like it might be a TVR, but unless someone is near there and can check it out for me, its too much of a gamble for me to make that kind of a drive.
Capricorn power train near Latrobe Pa services a bunch of these cars.
I know the owner. He has a few of his own.
Might be worth a call. His name is Jeff Jacobelli or something close to that.
Good luck!
I know it's too new, but there's this on Detroit CL http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/5321565240.html
$10K for a 280i but it's an auto.
BTW, why the age restriction is this for a class or for state emissions?
Stampie wrote: I knew of one in the beaches area of Jacksonville. I saw it in the carport when they moved in but since then the vines have grown up on the fence to the point that you can't see it anymore. I don't know when I'll be out that way again but I'll check when I am.
I got out to check this one this evening. No answer at the door but I left a note on it and the FJ sitting behind it. Sorry for the poor picture but I didn't want to get all up in his business.
Looks like I may have found a good one. And it's only 2 hours away! Going to look at it on Saturday, but I'm taking my trailer, so you know what that means...Will report back later...
So is going to look at a TVR, like going to look at a puppy? Because you'll never come home without a puppy if you go look at them.
It all depends on the trailer. I have never taken it and not brought something back. So if the trailer insists on going, I may be in trouble.
In reply to Woody:
That would make mine The Stubborn Enabler, since it always seems to insist on going on the road trips...

Ooooh, nice. What is that? A 2500?
In reply to NickD:
Close. It's a 2500M. I make the distinction because there is a model called a 2500.

Ahh, I didn't know there were 2
In reply to dculberson:
Thanks. The pic below is of one of the two I've owned in the past. I really miss it, so I'm pretty excited about getting another one. The new one needs some work, but in general is a good, solid car.
In reply to WOW Really Paul?:
Yeah, a 2500 was a rather rare model that had a Vixen body on an 2500M chassis.
