If I had to drive a Motorhome, this is the way I would roll.

Easy button. Buy old Volvo with i-shift and Cummins engine. Get 5ther.. Register Volvo as an RV by installing a toilet inside the sleeper. DONE!

Im a huge fan of these....but. To get one thats been properly repaired and upgraded to address the inherent weaknesses of the model is $$$$. Or buy one cheap and pay even more to do those fixes yourself. I'll still probably give in to them sooner or later.

I love these as well. What are the inherent weaknesses of these? I know they are FWD using big block V8's. Is that the problem?

That may be a problem, but it's not THE problem. THE problem is that they are never quite as cool as the EM-50 urban Assault Vehicle version.

Seriously, if I ever get one of these, I'd want to paint it to match the EM-50 or just paint it orange to match the hotwheels version I had back in the 70's.

front wheel bearings seem to be a plague on them. the rear air suspension is also a major issue. I can't recall the rest just that when I was hunting them there is a list of little things that plague them but it costs a bit to make it all right again.

Seems intriguing. I emailed the seller. I hope it hasn't sold so I can at least go check it out. I love the looks of it, and it might work for our family of four, but I doubt it would tow the Delica behind it.

That is the king of awesome. If I thought I could actually get that for $3000 there would be one hell of a Maverick style fly-and-buy thread happening. It's like you combined all the best things about busses, rvs, sailboats, and WWII naval ships.

That is Copart for you. As little info as possible. You've got a month on that one so you have time to check it out. You would need someone with a dealer license to bid for you though.
