I think these were included in a box of spares with a former vintage race car we had a few years ago. I just dug them out of the recycle bin.

All markings have been polished off.

Looks like Wilwood to me

Yes, they sure do resemble a Wilwood dynalite caliper, or at least someone's knockoff version of it.

Really early DynaLites is my guess. Also, if you've got the car, the driver, the trailer, the tow vehicle, the shop, the paddock infrastructure and the 100 other things that comprise a race effort so perfect you have time to polish your brake calipers, you have WAY too much free time.

It was a shocker when I got far enough ahead that I windexed and Honda shined the 51 car between qualifying and race 1 last season.

In reply to motomoron:

SOVREN/SVRA Vintage racing around these parts is a retired gentlemans game. Instead of people building competitive cars, it is people building the cars they always wanted to build and trying to race them anyway.

FYI - I've got a set of 4 I'd sell: 1.75" pistons/.81" rotor thickess and 1.375/.375. Used for a couple seasons on my sports racer.

Heck, I'm in my 20s and that sounds great! Just build something that keeps you happy and entertained and run it without feeling like it has to be competitive. I guess that's kinda what's been happening to me with the Jeep and rallycross...

Good point. I have seen polished calipers on street rods and those would look nice on one. Clean lines.

It really is the only kind of racing I could see myself doing. I have zero competitive instinct anymore and just love cool cars that are fun to hustle around.
