I think it can work, but the specific brown is pretty key. Not sure if you'd consider something this modern/updated or if you want it to be more true to stock, but I like this:
Help by finding pictures of yellow 60s and 70s era cars and trucks with interior visible, I find convertibles are easiest.

Looks like it's a custom seat, but the leather is from Relicate and the color is "cocoa"
I'm seeing a bunch of similar style seats from TMI and CJ Pony Parts, etc
