FYI this car is listed as an XJ8 but it is really an XJ6. 95 and 96 had the old 4.0 inline 6, 97 they moved to the 4.0 V8. You can tell by the turn signals and side marker lights. On the XJ6 the are rectangular, on the XJ8 they are more rounded.
There does happen to be a blown motor, ground control suspended, 5 speed swapped SVX with a good motor sitting next to it that you could probably get for around challenge budget in town. I'd bet I would even loan you my engine lift that the good motor is hanging off of.
It's not in Gainsville, but he can pick up Catywampus and drive her down to the Challenge and back up, as long as he doesn't break her. Not an aristocrat by any means, though.
