My answer to the three car garage is a big old suburban 2500 that can sit for a month without moving and is pretty fully depreciated. 4x4 if it's ever necessary and can haul everything anywhere.
Daily driver is a B6 Passat wagon with the 300 hp VR6 motor and AWD. Handles well, goes good, comfortable, sounds good, and has been a trooper for teaching all my teenagers to drive in.
Sports machine is a high strung turbo Miata that doesn't come out if there is a chance of salt or snow.
