I've been trying to verify that my projected plumbing sizes will work but so far consistent info has been difficult to size.

My stock car has an oil filter relocation kit that uses -10 AN flexible hose, probably 8-10 ft of it. I figure that if this is the case I can probably use -10 for my dry sump oil lines to and from my tank and from the pump to the engine. Is there any potential downside to this approach and is there a proper way to calculate oil line size?

Y'all's input has been wonderfully helpful so far and I'm very close to being able to put this whole thing back together finally.

Depends on oil pump flow, but I've just guesstimated it based on engine size. I used AN-10 for the FA20/4UGSE and AN-8 for the 4AGE. The only part of the system that would see more flow than the filter did would be the tank-pump-engine lines.
