I have a Terminator X Max ecu in my truck. What sort of issues are you having? If you have a CANbus splitter for the laptop and screen it's recommended to unplug the screen when updating the firmware via USB. I haven't had an issue updating tunes via USB with the screen plugged in though.
Make sure usb drivers are showing in device manager.
