Noticed it almost immediately and pulled over. We were back on the road in less than 5 minutes. Aluminum gets hot fast dragging at 70mph.

We made it back home to Lexington with the Rampage about 6:30 last night. Drive was mostly uneventful other than keeping a close eye on the tires on the tow dolly that were wearing very fast on the inside edges- we probably should have found a shop to swap them around on the wheels so the opposite side wore, but oh well... I plan to sell the dolly as quickly as possible anyway so it's not a big concern. Hopefully it and the Rampage will sell quickly!
After 12 hours of travel yesterday that included Atalanta (ugh) and a detour from a detour onto a series of 1.5 lane wide rural Tennessee mountain roads and 12 hours today with lots of rain and traffic and a leaky tire we are finally home and the UHaul trailer has been returned.

After 14 hr in air travel, FL to TX. I made it home at 2:30 am today. Some how made it to class on time at 8 am.
It took me about 21 hours to get from Gainesville to New York.
Issues:
Cruise control stopped working when we left. 1100 miles with out cruise.. annoying.
Appears my road tires have lost a weight causing a vibration right at 70... Annoying but can drive, and can switch back to the Rivals if it gets too bad.
Somewhere in South Carolina, the exhaust broke off right behind the Cat. The sound was defining. The floor shook. We stopped and racket strapped the exhaust so it was only a 50 % leak and bought ear plugs.
Had a great time.
