What is the sensor under the distributor on a d16? Looks like an oil leak coming out of it.

TDC, CKP(crank), and CMP(cam) if it's OBD1

TDC and CMP of it's OBD2

If it's leaking internally I don't think that seal is a replaceable part.

That should be INSIDE the distributor, not under it.

OBD2 cars have the TDC and CMP sensors on the crank.

Yes, the cam seals in the distributors are replaceable.

Sounds like a leaking Coolant temp sensor or something else. Check Majestic Honda's excellent parts website for an exact detail of what it is. www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

Sure that leak isn't the distributor itself? They're pretty notorious for oil leaks. I think the water temperature sender is under there on an OBD0 car?

I was thinking distributor seal too. That's what was going on here.

Hopefully this dropbox link works, if not I'll have to figure something else out.

I'll have to make a photo bucket account unless there is a way to do it with Dropbox.

You'll need to log in to post.
