Still shopping for a new to me car and kicking around all kinds of options.  Out of sheer curiosity I did a search on Jaguar.  I can pick up a nice 2017 or 2018 for a song.  XE, XF or XJ...all with the supercharged V6.  I know Jaguar is not Honda, and I also know they aren't quite the prince of darkness they once were.  Anyone have experience with these?  Research I've done shows that the cooling system is the Achilles heel.  They make upgraded replacement parts to solve the problem... using plastic in areas that get very hot.  Otherwise it appears it's a fairly stout engine.  Can anyone verify?

I'd also be curious to hear others' experiences, mainly because the XF Sportbrake sounds like a really good time.

On paper, at least.

Here is a tear down on one, interesting design to say the least, V8 with rear cylinder delete, although it is as long as the V8.   He does cover alot of the issues.
