Indeed, 3 months seems like forever! The good news is GRM+ subscribers should start seeing those stories in a couple of weeks! How's that?

It's not really three months. The April issue comes out in late February, early March (depending on your post office).
Why the late cover dates?
I asked the same question when I started writing for GRM. The answer lies in how retail deals with magazines. Stale cover dates will be pulled from the shelf. So if an April issue showed up sometime in April, it would only last on the shelf for a couple of weeks. But if the April issue shows up in late Feb/early March, it gets at least a full month. Until the next GRM shows up. Which is the best possibe outcome.
This is even more important when you consider that GRM does not publish every month -- it's 10 issues over 12 months.
Crazy, right?
And as J.A. mentioned, the cool kids (aka subscribers) get their fix online first.

Important dates for April GRM:
To press: February 3
Leaves printer: February 12
I wanna know how you made that photograph.
I've seen the pasted-up story in digital form, but I also know the print mag doesn't yet exist.
Is this some sort of digital wrap thing? Or did y'all physically print the story and paste it into a hard copy magazine. I'm guessing the former.

Thank you J.A., Andy & David! I am one of the lucky ones to get it early then :) I have a close friend who has gone through 2 or 3 ND2 transmissions and he is thirsty for the info while he saves up for a built transmission.
