Just had a FedEx driver carry three tires up the driveway at once. He made those 205/50R15 Falkens look like bike tires.

The young FedEx lady who dropped my tires off a couple of weeks ago was toting two at a time (they were taped together), I was impressed because she wasn't that big.

I don't think I've ever tried more than 2 unmounted tires at a time.  But I'm usually dealing with bigger sizes than that as well.

Most of those delivery jobs have a minimum weight to be able to lift / carry unassisted (usually 50 or 75 lbs) as a job requirement.  So I'm not surprised to see 2 at a time in that situation.

Tire rack usually ships them tied up in pairs to me, so I carry 4 at once. Usually that's only 40-50lbs per side so it's lightweight. As long as wheels aren't included.

I'm just glad they have reduced the size of rolls of the plastic freezer curtains, 120lb rolls were not fun.

Car tires, I dont think I have ever tried to carry more than 4.
Bike tires, as many as I have on hand.  Same with lego tires.

205/50/15 I've carried 6 at a time. 285/45/22 I've carried half of one.

4. They were 275/35r18s.

I was cheating though. They were strapped together in bundles of two.

I didn't carry them far.

I practiced setting one 10 inch late model tire on top of the other  the rolling the top one backwards to make the bottom one go ahead.  It's not that hard when they are that wide and light.

After recent back surgery I can carry exactly 0 car tires, unless they weigh under 10 lbs haha.

I managed to fit five, 35x12.50x15 mud terrians, mounted, INTO a '97 XJ.

Not bolted to the axles, inside the vehicle. It smelled of new rubber for weeks after. Could be worse.

Those are like dragster front tires!

Hey, they're at least twice as wide as dragster fronts!  (5" in the front, 5.5" in the rear, on 4" wheels)

Build a trebuchet out of old parts and use it to throw tires?
