So I went to my first Autocross it was awesome. It was a BMW CCA event however and a "fun"day so I got a total of 16 laps. Normally I imagine it won't be so many but I think it will still be more than the 3 on a championship day with SCCA
I want to get some coworker/friends interested and one of them drives a slushbox fusion, and the other has a 135 but is too prissy about his paint getting chipped to be willing to drive his car.
I had already offered to the slushbox owner that he could pay his entry fee and also drive the miata.
Would it be way too much to ask of the tires and the car to have three drivers at a single autoX?

Most sanctioning bodies say you can have a maximum of 2 drivers per car per class....so, 2 in CS and 2 in CS Ladies (if they happen to be so equipped)

And it totally depends on the car. Typically, tires will be fine, brakes most likely..just keep an eye on coolant, oil levels, etc.

Change the oil or you'll likely get some lifter tick after a few hot runs. If you're worried about the tires bring a weed sprayer filled with water - which can also be used on the radiator.
I thought this was about something else.

For the next event, do you expect to get in 16 laps per driver again?
Seems that maybe 16 was an unusually high number.
If you got 8 laps in each (my events are more like 3-4 laps each) then the car would once again see 16 laps and I think you have proven that she can do that with no failure.

Sounds like the normal is 11 laps per day
one 4 lap practice session with the first lap being driven by an instructor
second 4 lap practice session
third session of 3 timed laps
The day I did was actually continous runs after the first session. So it was one four lap session with instructor stop, switch seats, do 3 more laps individually. Sessions 2,3,4 were 4 laps continuous so you just looped back onto the course with no stopping
BMW events it's usually not a big deal to have 3 drivers. I do it all the time and yes hot laps on hot tires will create some wear, but well worth it.
