This was just posted pretty close to me, thinking of grabbing it for the new house. No idea if that's a steal, a ripoff, or somewhere in between:

I bought and installed a few of those in our last shop. They were about $4500 new around 8 years ago.

They are imports but I prefer them to the Rotary brand lifts myself

Looks like a fair deal, go for it. Plan on buying a set of anchors, not expensive but you can't reuse the old ones.

The "C" series is the commercial line vs the "E" economy line. You can get extensions for the towers if you want to go taller. (You will need new cables too).

Good info, new garage will have fairly tall ceilings. Any idea how much clearance this unit gives me under a car?

That one looks sort of short. Mine is 12' tall at the ceiling and they make extensions that go to 14'. Contact Challenger with the model number and see what they say. Looks like the C10 has been replaced by the C12.

I have a Challenger E10 and really like it.
