There are a couple people here on GRM that are running the event. It would be interesting to hear from them.
A few years ago, One Lap rolled through Daytona so, of course, we were there at the track.
The teams at the pointy end of the field were very much "get in, run, get out." And I get that. Sleep is important.
And then you had some of our friends who were taking a more chill approach. We found them sitting on lawn chairs in their garage just, well, chilling, eating candy from a truck stop briefcase.
