And I think the C2 is the only ugly vette. A pimple on the ass of what is otherwise a pretty good run of really good looking cars.

That one in the first post looks to me like a 240Z from the front.

I couldn't afford to feed that. An LS would allow me to afford driving around all day in that much awesome.

So, no kidding, I priced a set of those headlight covers because I thought I might be picking up an El Dorado and it would be funny to have them. Quote came back, months later mind you, for over $1600 for a set. Crazy!

Am I missing something?

The original car posted IS a C3 vette, right? It just has a funny C2ish front end on it.

I am pretty sure they did not ruin a C2.

No, the original car posted is a '63 C2.

umm, well, maybe it IS a C2.

I can't tell.

The windshield says C2. The rear says C3. The front says blarghhh.

There's a C3 parked next to it. Look at the differences. Plus the back is C2 as well. The rear quarter is flared and there's a spoiler added to the back.

For some reason this car really astounds me. It's like an optical illusion, both foreign and familiar at the same time.

The bottom picture looks like a goth mako shark that got caught a whackin off in ma

You'd have to include GM in that group, since the car above has many styling cues from the original Mako Shark concept.

Give this a better paint job and a giant Hot Wheels decal, then my 8yo son would start doing extra chores in saving up his money now!

Um no! This looks good from all angles. It was built for this chassis. Not like some of the aftermarket stuff designed AROUND the car.

There was a four door C3 in my hometown when I was in middle school.

As for the green car, I kind of like it. Not as much as an original C2 of course and I certainly wouldn't build my own, but I wouldn't hate owning it.
