Nardo grey from 2018 Audi's. Saw it one day out driving around...
I even went so far to get a $35 pint to do some spray outs.
I don't even do body work or paint. Yet.

Yes. If I had $75k, even though there are nicer, better performing cars.......A Nardo Gray, TT-RS...........I love that idea.
I have seen a similar color on first generation TTs.
I always thought of it as "Medium Dolphin". It's kind of an organic looking color in person.
Pastel grey is all the rage these days. They made a few Scion TCs in that color too. And I think a 'merican pickup does too, or maybe that's Yota.
I can't get past thinking of it as electrical panel gray. Too many years in the electrical business I guess.
My WW2 vet grandfather always had buckets of cheap battleship gray that he would coat everything with that needed paint.
The new primer base clear looks kinda cool, but its also what it looks like when you get a cheap Maaco silver paint job, so i usually think its a mistake at first. Shiny primer.
Ive seem a few other odd colors like the light brown mentioned above. Id usually describe the color as some shade of poo.

Allen Bradley motor control centers... thanks for making me see these during my weekend.
Audi has offered that non-metallic gray off and on for ages.
My favorite color right now is the Volvo Maple Brown Metallic. Looks boring in most online picture I've seen, but absolutely stunning in person. This picture almost does it justice:

I spent the better part of a year with my head stuck in motor control centers terminating all the runs in trash burning power/steam plant. Every motor in the plant came back to 2 control rooms for the computer interface. This was in the 90s so everything was hardwired. No can bus, no local control. Probably why the color makes me think industrial thoughts.

Genuine laugh out loud at the electrical enclosures!
There's a similar color on the Focus RS. It's fine. I like it, but don't love it. I get why others are totally enamored, but that's why they call it personal opinion.

I had a hand in buying almost a dozen of those A-B MCC's for the client I'm currently working for. The main reason I've been living in a hotel room since August, 2018.
My only problem with Nardo Grey is that I think the RS3 and S3 look best in red.
We've had so many years of German cars in drab colors that I'm ready to see some bright shades.
Primer Gray is the new Red
Flat Black is the old Red.
;)
I really like that Rootbeer Brown, might be the color for my 56 Nomad.
I wanted to paint my first car something similar to this, at the time I think it was called Dove Gray.
This is the same model and color, different car. Although not period correct, I think it would have been an improvement.
Chrysler makes a similar color called Ceramic Gray that I think is gorgeous. My dream builds is an '88-99 single cab C1500 in that color with either black or chrome trim.
