Brought it home Tuesday night, 68,000 miles, runs great, everything works, there are a few things that show the 16 year age, seat foam for one, but that is cheap enough. I am slowly learning where everything is. It is everything my Miata was, and so much more! Sure, I am not getting the mileage the Miata got, but I am not that far off. More to follow.

Congrats! I love that generation of Corvette— I'm such a sucker for the 90's curves and popup headlights. With the 6-speed you can get shockingly good gas mileage on the highway due to how radical the overdrive is in 6th gear, that's how the Corvette manages to avoid the gas guzzler tax.
Enjoy the torque of that lovely LS engine, it's amazing! And when you feel like you need more power, a few basic bolt-ons will give you plenty.

You will get better mileage than your Miata on the highway at 70mph. I used to average 29 mpg in mine and would see 32-33 on the highway.
