I am proud to report that the 88 900 SPG has moved on to the right guy. I was DDing it and two hour commutes with the manual were killing me. Sold by my 13 year old gearhead son while I was at work. I just spent an hour on the phone with the new owner and would buy him a root beer anytime. It sounds as if he will continue the driving restoration. He asked all the right questions, understood its needs. Told me about daily driving a 928. Yep, right guy. Probably on this board.
Congrats on the sale! I'm really hoping I get that lucky selling my Sentra. I'd love to see it go to an autocrosser.

Nice, glad you were able to pass it on to someone who will appreciate it!
If the dude is crazy/skilled enough to DD a 928 a C900 should be easy.

Always nice when you find a good home for the things we care for...
SPG's are cool. That is all.
I feel like there aren't a lot of people who would buy a 900 SPG that are the "wrong" kind of people to own one. You're basically self-selecting for mental illness, I mean enthusiasm.
Porsche 928 and a Saab SPG? This guy must be my twin

Such a bonus to have the car loved. When we started talking about the motorcycles we both liked I knew this was the right guy. And HAH! Yes, Saab people are very engineers, I mean special. There is a 9-5 Aero in the garage now.
