I love the Volvo Amazon. Tomorrow I ask for a raise from the boss so I can start on my car.

Lots of Nissan engines in those cars. And that killer white Corvair with the orange stripes and vette engine.

WOW!

That is a very awesome V8 VQ45 swap from an Infiniti Q45 and twin turbo'd. That IS one beautiful car.

Goddamn that is a sweet thread. I think the winner is that Volvo Amazon though.

The MGB GT wins the sleeper award though...RB26T in it and the damn thing looks stock on the outside!

I have to shamelessly plug my own project as my favorite restomod: my dad bought this car in 1962 and it's been part of the family ever since. It's currently in the middle of a 4.6 DOHC/T45 swap.

The Cosworth Model A was the first car that came to mind.

The Manta does it the most for me, but the Amazon is a very close second.

Not only that it gives me some cool ideas for that 280z on the back of my property that's just sitting there doing nothing.

Volvo Amazon hands down.

Even my wife stopped in her tracks while walking by the computer to ogle that car porn. She said "I'd rock that!"

I really appreciate that kind of work. I like classic cars and all, but I really like resto mods if done well, too. That Karmann Ghia rocks.

I'm trying very hard not to get worked up about the triumph drag car.

The Opel is my favorite but that could be because I've seen the amazon wagon before.

Here's mine: A 66 Bonneville with a Caddy 500, TH400, GVOD, 14-bolt rear axles, and 3/4-ton front brakes. I tore it all down for body work and now I think I'm going to do a diesel; either a Duramax or a TDI V10 (if I can afford it)
