So, the title says it all. I thought that the Skip Barber schools went bust, but I see adverts at the top of the page. A quick Google brings up articles about the school but not the man going bankrupt, about some of the cars and about the school going bust. But I don't see anything else. When I clicked the ad it took me to a site that said they had 2019 dates, but that's as far as I went.
Note, I'm not interested in a school at this time, I was just surprised to see the ad.
The school went bankrupt (I got caught up in that mess as the Mrs and I were enrolled at a school in Sebring). The name was bought by another group that had been doing motorsports events for awhile. The new guys brought in many of the old employees and got the blessing of the Man himself (thats why they are back at Lime Rock). They moved over to a fleet of Mustangs. I did the 3 day school last July at Lime Rock and had Bruce MacInnes as a lead instructor.
While I was there a couple people from Road and Track were also attending. Bob Sorokanich was in my class and Jack Baruth was there with his wife who was doing the 2 day advanced.

In reply to logdog :I never post here but Bruce MacInnes? He was teaching at Lime Rock back in 80 or 81 when I took the 3 day Formula Ford school.
I would have thought he would have hung it up by now.
