To Johnnytorque... The $ saved buying from Tire Rack easily covers the cost of having them ship to your door. Especially now with the $ exchange rate at essentially zero %.
I just priced a set of Yokohama Geolander tires for my Pathfinder. If I have them shipped to the house (Ottawa) delivery is $150 and includes all taxes and brokerage fees. Having them shipped to the UPS store in Ogdensburg NY is $65, but I will have to pick them up (~1 hour away). Canada Customs charges the GST (5%) on the purchase, plus duty IF the tires you buy are manufactured in a country that is NOT part of NAFTA (i.e. Pirelli tires manufactured in Europe).
A 3rd option is having the tires delivered to a local certified Tire Rack Installer garage. There is one in Ottawa, so I would expect there should be at least one in Toronto.
You can use Tire Rack's website to price check the various options and find a preferred solution. I have used the home delivery approach in the past, and a couple co-workers have used both the UPS and installer options. I plan to try the UPS store with my next purchase when I'm ready to buy.
