because I think that GRM people would appreciate that someone has a great-condition V6, manual-tranny Fiero..........that his wife was begging everyone present to "please buy this thing from him" at which he laughed heartily......at an 80s-themed birthday party no less.......and he was literally diving onto the hood of the car and letting other people sit on it to take cheesy photos.

oh, and to bring the headlights up he had to open the hood and raise them by hand....

epic 80s win.

Oddly I passed a Fiero GT on the way home and thought, That's something you don't see every day.

See them . . . They are usually in a field covered with grass and crap.

I still have it on my bucket list . . .

This one was driving--like under its own power and everything.

With the Red Card for excessive girly drinking having benn handed out, that car is awesome. Did he load it with Baby Formula in 1kilo bags and wear brightly colored suits with the collars flipped up?

I know a house in the area with about 6 Fieros in the front yard. All appeared to be plated and in good condition too. I see several others in use rather frequently, and they come up for sale pretty regularly as well.

I've autocrossed a couple, but unfortunately I have the same problem with Fieros as I do with C4 Vettes - Chevy seemed to build them for the average 6'/250lb American male. As a 5'6"/150lb skinny-ass punk, driving one is like wearing clothes that are 6-sizes too large. There's just no way to get comfortable in the car for me.

The first car I autocrossed in the USA was a Fiero, also the only time I opened the door trying to shift gears.

as a 5'11"/ 245 pound American Male, i can assure you that cars aren't built for people my size, either.. i have to wedge myself into pretty much everything that isn't a full size truck built after about 1977 or so. it was interesting a couple of months ago when my uncle let me drive is 92 Corvette ZR1- it took me about 10 seconds just to plot my path of entering the car somewhat gracefully, and about as long to figure out how to climb out of it.. when i was in it, i had a problem reaching around my shoulder to find the seatbelt, then had trouble actually clicking it in place.. i'm sure it would get better with repetition like how i learned how to get into and out of my 86 Camaro, but i'd imagine something like a Fiero would have a similar learning curve..

I'm 5'11" and 165. I've owned several Fieros and a C4 Vette. Fit me fine.

Now when I road raced a Fiero with a full cage, yes that was a problem to drive. Had no room to move my left arm.

Still want one as a commuter car. Wasn't that what they were "intended" for?

friend has a caddy v8 stuffed in his field . very clean install . I've driven it once . not as crazy a as you would think . he's going to sell cause he can't drive for medical reasons.

I have your height and fit fine in a Fiero but for the footwell. Some dumbass ran the steering shaft right through the pedal area. I forget if it's between the clutch and brake, or between the brake and accelerator, but you need to replace your feet with hooves if you want to use the pedals.

A former Pontiac mechanic friend of mine said that internally the Fiero was referred to as the "Fiasco".
