Well, "the biggest bar I can get" is contributing to it lifting. But as long as the car drives fine and lifting the wheel isn't causing lockup issues, it doesn't really matter. The first photo does make it look like you could use more front spring, but the photo also makes it look like that turn is off camber which will make it look worse than it really is.
Also this thread reminds me of the time when I went to track day in my STS prepped NA6. I caught a hellcat and luckily (for me) just as I was beginning to think about how in the world I was going to manage to get past him, he got black flagged for something else.
What rates are you running?
I didn't find 800/500 XIDAs on R888s offensive on the road, but they were brilliant on track. But it was a track-focused car, not a DD.
How does the car handle? If it isn't understeering mid corner, I wouldn't be too worried about that tire not being loaded heavily.

In reply to z31maniac :
391lb/in front, 258lb/in rear. It's on FM/VMAXX Classics. So probably way on the soft side for what I'm doing

It tends to push a bit on the faster stuff, but that might be that the chassis is set up more for autocross, and that it is hideously undertired. I'm only running a 225-width 200tw tire on a 15x9 rim.
Yeah definitely a bit soft, you should get a setup at least 50% harder, maybe 2x as hard which would bring you to about 800F/500R. Any harder than that could start to become a PITA for a street-driven car.
Lifting a front tire like that is irrelevant. It's keeping both rears on the ground that is the concern with your torsen diff and that car looks to be doing that just fine. Your setup is pretty good it looks, a bit "pushy" at speed is safer and less drama inducing than "tail happy" at speed.
Yes, you could jam more tire under it and more spring on it but for a sometime DD car you probably don't need to and it wouldn't improve your times as much as it would ruin the car.
Good job out there, I'd love to come drive that track. It's a bit far from me however

I'm planning on putting on the FM Fox coilovers this winter. I know that while they have a good bit more spring rate, they are supposed to still ride pretty good. I'll probably also jump up to 245-width BFG Rivals. That was the original plan for the car last winter, but then I blew up my 5-speed transmission, and after the U-Haul rental to drag it back from North Carolina, the price of a 6-speed trans, the 3.63 gear set and a new clutch and flywheel, that ate up my coilover budget
If you have more than 3 wheels on the ground and you are not sliding.....You are too slow

It's funny, when I mentioned this on Facebook, my friend Gerritt posted a picture of his old H/Street Celica and said "Almost isn't good enough"
And then my other friend called us both amateur's and put up a pic of his F/Mod

I'm running 800/500 Xida on 225s on our NA... it felt a little soft on NT01 and Rival, definitely feels soft on Toyo RR. I'm definitely going to need to add some spring when I get the aero going.
Having had VMaxx on the car (they're now on my street NB), I can definitely say you're going to see a HUGE improvement switching to Fox/Xida, etc...
As far as giant killing, it's fun! Our first event this year I was faster than a C7 ZR1 that was running TT with us.

Was back at Pineview this weekend for the Finale to their own Challenge Cup, which is a time trial points series run every Wednesday, with the Finale on a weekend. Cars are broken down into groups based on treadwear ratings: Race (sub-200), Track (200-300) and Street (300-up). Everybody at this series was really competive and very competent. I figured 1:18s were all the car (and I) had in it, but the very last run of the very last event I did this
That's a 1:17.449, darn near a full second off of my fastest ever. The car ahead of me by ~1.1 seconds was a brand-new Porsche 911 Turbo S with a very competent driver. I'll take that. I think I ended up 4th in the Track points standings. So, with more tire and better coilovers, I think 1.16s are in the cards.
Aaaand, I melted my speedometer cable on the header after that run, so now I have to swap that out.
