I need a fitting that is similar to your typical air compressor fitting, but made for a larger hose diameter....something with the following specs:

Metal or Plastic 3/4"-1" Hose ID Bulkhead mount female fitting (ideal, but not necessary) Built in valve (closed when disconnected) Will come into contact with gasoline

Does such a thing exist? I've poured over the McMaster catalog, Grainger, eBay....Maybe I'm searching the wrong criteria.

We buy from Faster. I didn't look close to see if they had what you were looking for, but check out the web page.

You would need a separate bulkhead fitting for those. I remember seeing some last week that were bulkhead mount but I can't remember where (I believe they were Parker), I will keep looking to see what I can find.

I get a lot of this from Dixon Valve. www.dixonvalve.com

Sometimes larger air hose uses a Chicago type fitting - you would have to add a ball valve.

Search for the term "dry break". Emco invented the dry-break fitting, but it has become a universal term over the years.

Kind of pricey, ($220 each) but Uncle Summit has some -16AN quick disconnect fittings.
