The name of one of our local race teams applies here: GFDSU. Go Fast. Don't Screw Up.
If I understand correctly your track time has all been FWD. Perhaps between now and your joyful next year's adventure, driving a RWD car all the time on track and off could be a real benefit. It took me a couple years to lose my RWD instincts when my life went FWD. I think i could go back and fourth now, but I was all screwed up for a couple years. And if it has not been mentioned and you are not already, get fit. Awesome Fun!

I've autocrossed an 80 Corolla and rallycrossed a 78 Celica but, as far as high speed stuff it's been FWD and AWD. However, the thing I'm more worried about is power. All my previous experience has been in power challenged flyweights. Daewoo was Civic sized and had 150 hp on a good day. The Avante is even lighter and has less power. The Toyotas were both well under 2000 lbs and under 120 hp. My AWD Talon had about 230 hp but AWD is basically cheating and doesn't have a ton of applicability to other kinds of cars. By comparison, the Gen Coupe is going to be close to 3k lbs and make over 350 hp.
I think I'll be bumming rides off teammates and being conservative for a couple of practice sessions. From what I've seen on youtube, Gen Coupes are pretty benign and the primary challenge seems to be just the car's excess bigginess.
