Please read the entire ad!!! Looking to sell my 1977 Porsche 924. It has a 4 speed manual transmission, D Production body kit that consists of rear fender flares, fiberglass fenders and air dam, and also has real European bumpers and lights and a 944 hatch with rear wing. Has new paint in the original yellow, period correct staggered wheels, all completely new interior, autopower 1/2 roll cage, new suspension, brakes, etc, etc, etc. This has been a project for about few years, and I just dont have time to complete it, and I have too many cars (so, I DONT WANT TO TRADE!!!). It only needs to install passenger seat, alignment, wire up fog lights, etc. Just about everything is brand new, and smells new inside. Runs good, shifts perfect, and is reliable, etc. Currently registered and inspected. I drive it occasionally for fun. It looks like no other 924 on the road, and when I have driven it (rarely), it gets many, many admiring looks. This would also be a cool car to drop in a V8 (many kits available for that also), or a turbo conversion. I have about 3X my asking price into this car, and you definitely cannot reproduce it for my asking price. NO TRADES OR BARTERS. Seriously, I really dont want to trade your rusty Ford Escort and a BB Gun, etc. Be serious (some of the offers from C-listers are just plain stupid). NO LOWBALLERS. Dont waste my time or yours. If you are interested, CALL me. Shares alot of parts with an early Porsche 944 (interior, suspension, etc), so parts are pretty easy to find. Located in Southern NH. Call Eric at (603) 785-4849
strange.....
And currently buried in 24 feet of snow probably, lol.
EDIT: Of course, my "no lowballers" rant doesn't apply here and is now a non-sequitur

lol...doh. That's what I get for looking at it on a phone with it scrolled down to the text
Not bad. The later Audi 5-speed from another 924 would drop right in to add a little better gear ratio. Too bad it isn't a 76 as it doesn't have the 125hp motor, only the 100 (unless they added Euro pistons and distributor)

The D-Prod kit is pretty rare, most go for the Carerra GT/GTS or a 944 body conversion.
Eurorace Motorworks still does ported 924 cylinder heads (it really needs it)
Paeco makes stroker kits which will bring it up to 2.3L.
EBS Racing has the main bearings and the rest of the parts to rebuild it.
Or you could drop a 20-valve inline 5 Audi motor in place of the Audi 4 with some mount fabrication, etc. and have some lovely noise to listen to.

Darn, just when I was getting my hopes up.
That's a great looking car. I'm finding that while I used to completely shun any non-S 924, now I'm starting to really appreciate the early models for their purity.
I actually really dig this one.

Here's a couple more. One looks pretty nice, the other meh.
$3400 is cheap money IMO for something that looks that good. I don't really follow these things and I don't know what they usually go for, but I think that's good value. Easy way to get some P-car
I think that is a nice car and the price is very fair. Always thought the 924 would be a good platform for a 4g63t swap. Being a Mitsubishi and Porsche enthusiast this would kinda fulfill a fantasy or two... I know, I'm sick.
That's been up for at least a few months. I've come across it more than once searching for other stuff. Gotta be something wrong with it.
With that said, if its as good as it looks in the pics,I wouldn't kick it out of the garage. Metaphorically speaking. I don't have a garage :(

I wouldn't even make much of an effort to go much less than the asking price. Maybe $3300 for the helluvit.
It looks like a great car and I doubt 924s are getting any cheaper. I've said before recently--Magnus Walker just bought one, so very soon, 924 interest on the internet will increase noticeably.
If I had the money and space, I'd just buy that as an investment and park it for 5 years.
