Maybe I spoke too soon or getting a title is a lot harder than it used to be.

That looks like a good deal if you can deal with the title issues and mechanical repairs.
Ah yes... the Toyota Sunrader. The rear axle was arguably a major weak point in those RVs, although in theory a GM swap shouldn't be too difficult. The RV versions would have an extended wheelbase that could work as a roll-back or ramp truck. However, those RVs have a somewhat loyal following and generally don't sell for cheap.

Figure it could work for towing around a Bugeye Sprite or a kei car. It’d be cute, right?
Thinking of seeing if I could get a flat bed, put a dovetail on it, and add long ramps. Wondering how crazy/impossible it would be to have a hinged/hydraulic dovetail

Heavy equipment trailers do it all day long. Few big hinges and a ram, nothing to it! Haha

Good point. I guess it depends upon cost at the end of the day if you don't go custom, rams and hoses aren't bad, but pumps OUCH!
Did someone say Toyota (mini) rollback?

I've owned two, you don't want to own a real rollback unless you own a forklift/business or have an in with heavy equipment folks, they're so hard to deal with. I loved both of mine, but I was glad to see them go.
I've got a power tilt trailer now, just as easy to load and cheaper to deal with.
My old one, if you do get one - id avoid the aluminum beds. The steel can be repaired very easily, the aluminum are a pain.
In reply to Spearfishin :
This little ram tilts all this weight pretty easily, off the shelf ram and 12v hydraulic pump.
My buddy had one for his repair / restoration shop ,
It was great when he needed to use it , but the insurance cost was so much he could have paid a Tow Company 3x the regular fee and still be ahead in $$$$
He sold it and just uses his trailer or calls the Tow Company
So see if there is a way to insure it as a personal truck ( probably not )
I ran into that with my F-550 with a dump bed. Couldn't get anything but "commerical for personal use", which was a weird terminology since it's self-contradictory, but also expensive.
Then one day, years into owning it, I was shopping insurance and Farm Bureau didn't blink. Just added the F-550 like it was a regular ole pick-up, which it mostly is. So, I guess I didn't try hard enough the first time.
Still have a short bus (Chevy 3500 cutaway) that's on its own weird/expensive policy.

So, maybe a flatbed with a small dovetail and long ramps?
I thought a good multi use would be a 14-16 ft stake bed truck , good for hauling a car , and for dump runs , but the bed is pretty tall ,
But whatever happened to the Ex U-haul box truck with the box taken off and made into a flatbed ?

Farm Bureau insurance?
Yes, that's who I'm currently with for some chunk of the "fleet", Virginia Farm Bureau.
