I've been tempted by those cheap mini's too. I loved the ones I have driven but scared of the cost to keep up especially with limited access to a garage space. IT would be a great canyon carver/track toy with room to carry the tires with you.

I remember test driving a Cooper S years ago right out of college and really wanted to buy a lightly used one. Just couldn't justify a car payment straight out of college, just seemed like a bad idea.
Cheap bad decisions are the best bad decisions. Well done. Maybe keep a mini calendar and mark all the days where the car is just fun and all the days where you wish you had your money back and see how that balances out over your period with the car?
Hell yes! I'll have to post some pics of mine when it gets back from the detailer. It is also challenge-legal (so far). Maybe an Indi Blue '04 S spec class?
