It might be close because all the engine accessories have been removed, the DI driver box should be worth a bit, but when do those ever break? DI injectors could be worth something. Beyond that you'd have to gamble with internals. It would be worth more to a shop that wants to try rebuilding one.
You'd have to have a very close look so you don't end up buying a piece of scrap aluminum for that money.
When the original engine in mine committed seppuku on the track, the non-standard block vents weren't visible until the intake was pulled off.
