Wasn't one of those guys. I don't think he was on here much. Maybe went by "madess". He's more into BMWs these days, but still plays with the Fieros.

NIce. So, you are saying it took twice as long than if you had just bought an airbrush and taught yourself?
The Amigas were new in the art department then and I wanted to see what I could do. I've never airbrushed, so that wasn't going to happen since I was a poor college student and art supplies are not cheap. The Amigas were there to use. Awesome computers at the time.
Sorry, I didn't mean to discredit all of your effort at computer aided design, your illustration looks great. I have been trying to learn 3D car design in AutoCAD for 20+ years and it can be daunting after previously spending a year in college trying to learn 3D airbrushing. I am amazed at how easy the car show Tee Shirt air brushers can whip up a rendering in perfect perspective in mere minutes. Cheers.

No harm, no foul. This was done in 1989. State of the art it was not. My professor had an Amiga 3000! The amount of color choices and the tools in the program were great. And, for me, they worked intuitively. I never was able to transition to Photoshop and other software. I couldn't wrap my head around layers. Honestly I prefer pencil and paper or pen and ink.

I owned a couple of Fieros - an 87 (with initial flawed suspension design) and an 88 - far, far better, which I modified to more than double the power (c. 300 bhp)
This is the 88 Fiero facing it's successor, a Solstice GXP coupe (the ones in the background are a Jensen Interceptor and a Lamborghini Islero S)
