I thought this thread was going to be about head gasket failures...

Nice pass, though.

Yeah, I really like Subarus but that was funny ("funny cuz it's true". Homer Simpson)

Sorry, but the greatest pass in automotive history would at least involve some nudity.

I would laugh if my HG wasn't leaking coolant right now.

Dunno if it's the greatest, there is that animated GIF where one guy passed over the top of another car...it's certainly up there though.

Surely not the greatest but he hopefully was on his way to Wal Mart for new undies.

Its what makes a Subaru a Subaru.

Those idiots are largely the reason I don't mess around with Subarus anymore...maybe it's a northern thing but the stereotypical Honda ricer has now been replaced by Monster energy & DC shoes branded scenesters with totally shagged and poorly modified WRXs.

True, for every one tastefully done, nice-sounding Subie I see around there's 20 awful, E36 M3-ty looking, spray bombed matte black ones speeding around.

Unfortunately, it isn't just a northern thing.

I don't see many here.

As an adult Subaru owner, I resent the broad strokes.

Of course, I drive a Forester XT to distance myself from the yobbo crowd, so there is some truth to it.

Subris: The tendancy for Subaru drivers to drive like total morons in poor conditions because they believe AWD will protect them from the laws of physics.

Got that from Click and Clack

Also the Subaru drivers that do mountain runs down here think they can dip wheels off and throw gravel in turns because they can. Makes it super dangerous for bikes behind them.

Also I hope I never have HG issues with my motor, I didn't realize it was a big deal.

For the most part the hg were a bigger issue with the phase 1 2.5 motors. Phase 2 is better, but not perfect. The sti head gasket seems to take care of the issue if used during a hg job.
