Much like the jalopy for your $1200 stimulus check thread but even more of a daydream, which car would you buy if this pandemic goes 36 months and you get $1200 a month?

Go!

A 2020 Mustang GT for $36.8 with zero down, 36 months was $1113 a month. Thats a pretty solid choice in my opinion.

Hopefully this doesnt last 36 months!

If I ever pay $1,200 per month for a car just shoot me because everything I ever told my kids about respecting the value of money will be a lie.

I'd split it between a Golf R DSG and a SLT Duramax 4x4 1500 Sierra.

If this lasts more than 3 months, I will have to be selling cars to pay my shop rent.

Or one $1200 jalopy, with $1200 eBay mod every month.

I won't get a dime from the government. THat said, in a DREAM, if I got 1200$ a month, I would order a 4 door Yas Marina Blue M3 sedan with a Sakhir Orange Interior, 6MT. Lease it for $835 a month, use the balance for gas.

Nothing better than enjoying European ownership on someone else's dime.

I'd just pay my damn mortgage with it

Or maybe just start a fleet of P71s.

Hmm - if it runs 36 months, I think I'd go looking for a used class B motorhome, and hitting the road to live in the desert and fight off raiders laugh

New?  Scat pack charger, purple.  Could have it paid off in closer to 30 months.  Used?  The nicest r32 GTR montu motors has in inventory.  But in reality yes I'm with knurled.  my truck payment is already eating $691 a month and it hasn't moved in over a week.  That's a lot of money for yard art

As good as I've gotten at working on my crap and lately I could put $1200 a month on my mechanics account just to keep things running. Grrrr

If it goes 36 months paying for cars won't be required. It'll be scavange and keep running what you find and can start

I'm going to try and stick to the original question ignoring that A) I will not receive $$$ and B) If I did there is a 0% chance I would spend any on car stuff.

That said, if I was forced to spend it on car stuff, I'd probably get a CTR.  Great performer, but can handle a child seat and has room to actually carry stuff inside when needed.
