I turned 40 in December, and my dad wanted to get me a racing school. We looked through all the ones, and were super excited about the Bondurant multi day kart school. We just got access to a private 1.2 mile kart track just outside of town, and just ordered our karts. We went on this week to the Bondurant website and were crushed to find out that they stopped doing the kart school.
Is there any other multi day school that can take us from no experience in karts to somewhat proficient? what's the best way to learn?
I'd get in touch with Luke Oxner and see if he would be interested in providing some instruction and training in a 2 student, one instructor environment.

I've spent some time doing this and really enjoyed every minute of it. http://endurancekarting.com/index.php/ek-home-new

I learned more by just putting in tons of laps with one eye on the lap times.
Yes. Kevin Haun at East Lansing Kart Track, or the Hannens at OVRP.
Both of whom offer decades of experience at teaching and tracks that are real "driver factories"
