Knoxville area meet up

Just curious if there was any interest in a Knoxville area meet up. And if so when?

Anybody?

I am in Cookeville, I would be down for a meetup before the middle of december, that when I go back to Illinois.

I'm down, whenever wherever. If I'm not working.

It would be nice if we had a real indoor karting place around. The only ones I know about are touristy place with anything but equal karts. But that would be fun.

Yeah. I'm thinking just a meet up, bs session, look at cars and maybe drive somewhere. I've not been in Knox long, but I'd love to learn some more roads in the area besides the Dragon.

It also be nice to see who is working on what and how we could lend a hand.

Well guys let's look at what date works for the majority. Also do we want to do say a weeknight or a weekend? I'm game for either, just not sure what others work/life schedules are.

Throw some dates out there. If a weekend how about Nov. 9.

As far as location, we could meet at the Starbucks in Turkey Creek. They have a huge parking lot, plus it makes it a little easier on Fritzsch if he is coming from Cookeville.

9th or 10th works for me. Weekdays are bad for me because I never know when I'll be off work. Some Saturdays I work and usually never know until Friday.

I made the first event this year and would like to make the last but don't have a car anymore.

I am good for the 9th or 10th. Weekends are good, weekdays are less good since I would have to drive. I only have a truck and hopefully Ill have my motorcycle running again by then

Harper's is having Cars and Coffee at West Town Mall in November. Let's try to combine events; do the C&C and then breakfast/brunch.

I've been wanting to go to a C&C. What is the date?

C&C at European Auto Garage is Nov. 2. Harper Porsche/Audi/Whatever else is having a big C&C at West Town mall Nov. 3.

I don't know what time either event starts.

I'm good with either too, if I fix the 911...went to drive it with my kiddo over the weekend and had a weird noise. I hope to crawl around/under it this afternoon and find out what it was.

But if it is broken, I'll still be there and drive the Jeep. Actually, with this crew I'd probably fit in better if I drove my wife's Mazda 3.

So how about Sunday Nov 3rd for the C&C event at West Town Mall. It is 8am-10am, so we could do a GRM breakfast/brunch/lunch thing afterward. Maybe a drive too? Would people want to meet up at the event or right before? Ill be wearing a GRM shirt

Sadly, I am all out of fun cars at the moment, I'll be in my truck. I guess it would be nice to meet up somewhere before hand so we're not walking up to strangers and asking them if they're from GRM.

Yeah, Ill also be in my truck unless I can get my motorcycle insured and street legal in time (doubtful). You are listed as in Knoxville, do you know of anywhere close to the event that could serve as a prelim meeting location?
